Johanna (born Balušíková) is a partner in Typotheque. She has lived in The Netherlands since 1999, and works in the field of graphic and type design with a focus on cultural work (www.johanna.sk). Johanna studied at the Jan van Eyck Akademie (1999-2001), Maastricht; Atelier National de Recherche Typographique (1998-1999), Paris; Ecole des Beaux-arts de Saint-Etienne (1997-1998), France; and Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava (1992-1998). In 2004 she has co-curated an exhibition entitled Experiment And Typography focusing on the last twenty years of typography development in Czech and Slovak Republics.
She is currently working in the Hague with children in her own studio Kids Atelier, on projects inspired by children’s spontaneous and expressive worlds and discoveries.
Alain Le Quernec
Alain Le Quernec, distinguished professor of art and eminent graphic designer, lives in Quimper, France, working mainly for cultural, social and political purposes.
Mostly known for his posters, he is a notable designer of books, art catalogues and newspapers. Alain is a member of Alliance Graphique Internationale and participates as a presenter and jury member at graphic design festivals and competitions around the world.
Alongside his activities as a designer, he has organised exhibitions of posters and lectured the poster workshops. Alain’s own work has also been widely shown and he won the highest prizes and awards.
Yossi Lemel was born in Jerusalem, Israel.
He is a political poster artist, creative director, a lecturer and a teacher, graduated and taught at the “Bezalel” Academy of Arts and Design in Jerusalem. Currently teaches at Holon Institute of Technology.
A jury member in Biennials of Moscow, Paris, Venice, Milan, Chicago, Mexico City, La Paz, Bolivia and invited guest lecturer in Universities and colleges in the USA: Raleigh, Boston, Minneapolis, El Paso ,Seattle, San Jose (California), Morgantown (West Virginia), Corvallis (Oregon), Milan, Istanbul, Athens, Stockholm, Vienna, Prague, Sao Paulo and more. Had numerous of social and political workshops in universities around the USA, Mexico, Turkey, Sweden, Italy and Israel.
Lemel had 18 solo Poster exhibitions in Berlin, Hamburg, Denver, New Orleans, Istanbul, Casale Monferrato, Poznan, Stockholm and Jerusalem.
More than 70 Awards include the Grand Prix at the 1st Korean poster Biennale, the Gold medal at Promax Canada, a Gold Medal at the Mexico Biennale, the Golden Bee Award, Moscow, silver medal at the Brno Poster Biennale, the Czech republic, 3 silver medals in Mons, Poster Triennale, Belgium and others.
His works are part of the permanent collections of the Victoria and Albert Museum in London, Musee de la Publicite, the Palais du Louvre, Paris, the Museum fuer Kunst und Gewerbe in Hamburg and the National Museum In Poznan, Poland.
Studied graphic design at the Academy of fine Arts in Warsaw. She works with Lech Majewski in his studio.
Justyna is great in designing posters, books, typography, and visual identities for cultural projects.
She had worked on several publishing projects, including book Film Posters in Poland, Warsaw Calendar Design. She designed complete visual identification for the Chopin’s birth bicentenary and the Generał Nil movie.
She was selected at the Chicago International Poster Biennial 2008. In the year 2010 she designed the catalogue of the 22nd Poster Biennial in Warsaw.
The main organizer of the TPT 2018 poster competition is the Jan Koniarek Gallery in Trnava.
Contest can be attended by students of art colleges and professional individuals or collectives from around the world.
The author permits the organizer to process the personal data.

Physical works sent to the organizer’s address are not returned and will be included in the official GJK TPT poster collection.

Eduardo Barrera Arambarri,
Mexico City, 1974.
Studied a major in Graphic Design at the National School of Plastic Arts, UNAM. Attended workshops by Jukka Veistola, Takashi Akiyama, Marna Bunnell, Peter Pocs and Uwe Loesch.
In 1996, Barrera designed several publications for the International Biennial of the Poster in Mexico and the Ludica design magazine. In 1999-2000 he was Art Director for Leo Burnett Mexico and Creative Director for Magic Moments Agentur für Kommunikation, in Vienna, Austria.
Since 2001, Eduardo works at his own studio, designing posters for cultural events and corporate design. His work has been shown in many countries, and published in catalogues, compilations, magazines and other specialized publications such as “Graphic Agitation 2”, “Étapes graphiques” ,“Graphic Designers from Mexico”, and “Latin American and Caribbean Graphic Design”.
Barrera’s work has been short-listed in several poster Biennales, and was awarded with the Bronze medal in the International Biennial of the Poster in Mexico; Bronze medal in the International Triennale in Kharkov, Ukraine, ‘4th Block”; with Erick Beltran designed the publication Ergo Sum and won Grand Prix in the Brno Biennale.
Presently lives in Czechia, studying a masters degree on photography and new media.

Exhibition of the Trnava Poster Triennial is traditionally held in the premises of Jan Koniarek Gallery in Trnava. Posters of finalists and the International Jury will be installed in the historic building of Koppl villa and in the renovated Synagogue.
