It is a world-renowned event, the largest of its kind in Slovakia.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\">On February 1, 2018, an invitation to submit posters issued between 2015 and 2018 was launched. Deadline for submitting the works was May 1, 2018.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><b>International Jury composed of<\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\">Alain Le Quernec (FRA), Eduardo Barrera Arambarri (MEX),<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\">Justyna Czerniakowska (POL), Yossi Lemel (ISR) and Johanna Bi\u013eak (SVK\/NLD), will use an on-line assessment application to shortlist about <span class=\"s2\"><b>400 posters of 4,830 submitted works<\/b><\/span> on May 15-30, 2018.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\">A curiosity of the 10th year of TPT is the <span class=\"s2\"><b>highest number of signed-in participants (1,687 authors)<\/b><\/span> in the history of the competition, including <span class=\"s2\"><b>63 countries<\/b><\/span>, as well as the highest number of <span class=\"s2\"><b>submitted posters \u2013 4,830<\/b><\/span>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\">On the top of the annual unique participation of designers from various countries of the world, the database of the participants that signed in the competition this year was extended by poster works of designers from the countries that have not signed up before. Those are e.g. Singapore, Peru, Peru, Kazakhstan, Egypt, India, Kuwait, Venezuela, Uruguay and Norway.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s2\"><b>Finalists will be announced on June 1, 2018.<\/b><\/span> Their posters will be exhibited in Synagogue &#8211; Centre of Contemporary Art at Halen\u00e1rska 2 in Trnava.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s2\"><b>Ceremonial opening of the Triennial<\/b><\/span>, connected with announcing the winners and awarding prizes is scheduled on <span class=\"s2\"><b>September 13, 2018<\/b><\/span>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\">The exhibition will last until November 25, 2018.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">TPT 2018 Statistics:<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><b> 4830 posters registered <\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><b> 1687 authors registered <\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"p4\">71 countries registered<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><b> 63 countries registered posters correctly<\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><b> 98 authors from Slovak Republic<\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"p4\">3089\/1741 professionals\/students ratio (A\/B kat)<\/p>\n<p class=\"p4\">57 posters registered in the last hour<\/p>\n<p class=\"p4\">4 posters edited in the last hour<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>More info in PDF.","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Jan Koniarek Gallery in Trnava is organising an annual tenth year of a contemporary world poster competition &#8211; Trnava Poster Triennial (TPT).
