Stanislav Stankoci (born 1959) worked as a teacher at the Department of Art of the Faculty of Architecture of the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava (1989 – 1992) and as head of Atelier of Graphic design II at the Department of Visual Communication of the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava (1992 – 2010). He was head of the Department of Graphic Design (at present the Department of Visual Communication) at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava (1992 – 2010). Since Feb 2011, he has been the rector of the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava. Besides pedagogical activities in the academic environment he is active in the field of graphic design, visual communication, computer graphics, painting and mixmedia. He has held 22 solo exhibitions. Stanislav Stankoci received countless awards for his achievements.
